Blue Room Publishing isn't your standard independent publisher. We don't claim to be "cutting-edge" and we don't decorate our mission statement with pretentious, artistic fluff in order to trick you into thinking our small size and underdog status somehow elevate us above all others on some kind of self-fulfilling level. We're not in the publishing game to elevate our ego or to inflate our street cred or even to get rich, for that matter. Instead, Blue Room Publishing exists for one primary reason: To provide a home for quality books of all kinds.

The overall goal at Blue Room Publishing is to offer a new realm for readers to connect with both the kinds of stories they crave as well as the types of books they may not be used to reading. We strive to provide new and original works of fiction and poetry to what has become a market that is primarily dominated by trends and imitations. While it's typically easier for a publisher to focus on specific genres and styles of writing, Blue Room prefers to keep its catalog more eclectic and diverse in order to take advantage of the wealth of innovative writing available out there and provide it to hungry readers. 

There are more books out there than what readers typically browse through in stores, and it's Blue Room Publishing's goal to provide an opportunity for readers to find them.
