Blue Room primarily publishes off-beat, slightly obscure fiction (of all flavors and genres) as well as some poetry. That said, we prefer to focus most of our efforts on fiction, primarily the kind of stories that the average reader would enjoy but wouldn't typically encounter. In short, we're all about opening the eyes of readers from all backgrounds, from the casual Starbucks page-turner to the hardcore two-books-a-week consumer.

Our fiction leans toward character-driven stories that have a solid emotional core. What we mean by that is that we like to produce books that resonate with the reader, no matter what the setting or style.

In the future, we also hope to publish anthologies and magazines, so check back often for updates.

Other than the "Books by BRP" page, you can find our books available in thousands of bookstores (both physical and online).

Unfortunately, we do not sell books directly to customers at this time. The good news is that BRP books are distributed by both nationally, meaning you can find our books in just about any store you can think of.
